March 6: Coach Ben Meseke was awarded the Marcus Priddy award, which recognizes a current coach making a positive difference in the life of his or her players.
March 22: The NW PTSA held a forum in cooperation with the Johnson County League of Women Voters for the Board of Education candidates for the NW area position. The three candidates will be voted for at 7 p.m. on April 5 in the NW auditorium.
Week of March 22: StuCo hosted a personal care item and peanut butter collection drive. They were collecting items for the homeless and needy of the Kansas City area, as well as to help Marcia Merrick, who makes sack meals for the needy.
March 25: The Budget Reduction Survey ended. The survey asked students, parents, teachers and patrons about issues like cutting the librarian position for grades 7-12 and eliminating the elementary school band programs.
